The Costa Blanca is situated on the south-eastern coast of Spain in the Valencia region and it is one of Europe's most attractive destinations, it extends from Javea to Torrevieja. From a small fishing village, Torrevieja has grown to become a vibrant, modern tourist resort offering all the facilities and ameneties to be expected from the fastest growing town in Europe.

The town itself has a superb esplanade overlooking the blue Medittereanian sea. An excellent sandy beach is accompanied by several purpose built swimming areas, allowing bathing in safe and calm conditions.

A wide variety of shops offer everything from designer clothes to herbal medicine. In the fashion department, most tastes are catered for, with many well known brands being readily available. The night life in the town is surprisingly lively, with many bars and clubs as well as virtually every type of restaurant, from informal Tapas bars to sophisticated Itialian.

For those seeking all night entertainment, there are a number of nightclubs on the outskirts of the town, which offer dancing until daybreak and beyond. Beach lovers are spoiled for choice. Not only in the town area but to the North and South, where over a dozen beutiful beaches can be reached within a few kilometers.

The popularity of Torrevieja and it's surrounding areas continues to grow, although the appoach to tourism here is very different to the "standard package holiday resort". Hotels are comparatively rare, with the majority of visitors property owners. This style of holiday allows much greater flexibility, particularly where children are included. The majority of Villas, Apartments and Townhouses available, are well equipped, frequently offering home entertainment via cable or Sky TV and Hi-Fi systems. There are some 13 golf courses in the Costa Blanca. Within a twenty minute drive there is access to 4 beautiful courses, one being within walking distance.
